Death Fields: The Greatest Sport is War

For millennia, advanced alien civilizations have abducted Earth's bravest warriors to fight in arenas across the galaxy, where they die and are reborn in the ultimate spectacle of combat. The Game Guilds broadcast these gladiatorial matches to thousands of systems, with humans—a primitive race from the far edge of the galaxy—being perennial fan favorites. Over time, Earth's finest have battled each other, sentient species, and deadly creatures, unaware that their exploits are a beloved sport. Meanwhile, humans continue their own conflicts, believing they are the most advanced race, while their immortal ancestors clash endlessly in the Death Fields.
