This Quar's War

Enter the World of Quar: A Saga of Eternal Conflict

For as long as anyone can remember, the Quar have been embroiled in war. Their earliest ancestors, who wandered as insect gatherers, built low, mud-walled shelters to protect themselves not only from wild animals but also from other Quar. As they developed tools to harvest food, they quickly devised weapons for defense. Mud walls evolved into fortified citadels, which then became city-states. Over five thousand years of civilization, the only constants in Quar culture have been the changing seasons and the ever-present threat of war.
