With over 2,100 units produced, the Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tank was the second most manufactured Japanese tank of WWII. Renowned for its speed and mobility, the Chi-Ha served in numerous battles across Asia, including the Second Sino-Japanese War and throughout WWII. Although considered a medium tank by Japanese standards, its lightweight design and moderate armor thickness would classify it as a light tank in other armies.

This set offers the option to build either the standard Chi-Ha or the up-gunned Type 97-Kai Shinhoto Chi-Ha, equipped with a high-velocity 47mm anti-tank gun and enhanced turret armor.
