Germany's blitzkrieg tactics relied on fast, manoeuvrable vehicles like the Sd.Kfz 222/223 Armoured Car. Built by Horch, this four-wheeled reconnaissance vehicle was armed with a 2cm autocannon and an MG34 machine gun. The Sd.Kfz 223 variant included radio equipment, distinguishing it with an aerial frame. Both models saw action in all WWII theatres and were also used by Romanian, Bulgarian, and Nationalist Chinese forces.
