The genetic product of an embryo tainted by an antipode retrovirus found in their saliva. In the rare instance that a pregnant human female is bitten by an Antipode but not killed this virus forces the alien DNA on the developing embryo and mutates it. The result is a human (typically referred to as a Dog-Face) that, when enraged, their endocrine system becomes hyperactive and triggers massive muscle, tissue and hair growth that transforms them into a Human / Antipode hybrid. Bigger and stronger than an Antipode and capable of manipulating tools and weapons these creatures make formidable opponents.
